- 2Use Save password on this device only on your own trusted computer.
- 3Dashboard shows your family trees, subscription access, referrals, notifications, and settings.

Creating & Managing Family Trees
Create, rename, share, and organize multiple family branches.
- 1Click Create New Family Tree and enter a unique tree name.
- 2Free users can start with the plan limit. Paid users can create more trees based on plan access.
- 3Use Rename from the tree editor when your plan supports custom tree names.
- 4Use Settings to manage public visibility, share links, collaborators, and tree-level controls.
Adding Members & Relationships
Build accurate parent, child, spouse, and sibling links.
- 1Click Add Member to add names, gender, life status, dates, places, contact details, and bio.
- 2Extended profile fields include nickname, education, marriage date, milestones, medical notes, photo gallery, and document uploads.
- 3Date of birth is optional, but adding it improves sibling order, statistics, reminders, and the family timeline.
- 4Use relationship fields to link parents, spouses, children, and siblings.
- 5Double-click a member card on the tree to open edit mode quickly.
- 6Use the side panel actions to add related parent, spouse, child, or sibling from an existing member.
Photos, Camera & Member Details
Add beautiful profile images and richer family information.
- 1Upload a member photo from file, or use camera/selfie capture on supported devices.
- 2Crop photos before upload so the face appears properly in circular and card themes.
- 3For members without photos, the app shows gender-based default icons.
- 4Add native place and current place separately; show or hide them from Chart appearance.
- 5Add social media profiles to show them in member details and the family directory.
Tree Design & Chart Appearance
Customize how the tree looks for viewing, printing, and sharing.
- 1Use the theme dropdown to select designer, color, festival, or occasion templates.
- 2Use Connector line style to choose professional line patterns like balanced, dots, glow, celebration, and more.
- 3Open Cards to control fonts, text size, sibling numbers, native place, current place, and relationship icons.
- 4Use line color controls for parent-child, spouse, and sibling relationships.
- 5Use compact cards for large family trees on smaller screens.
Joining / Merging Two Trees
Connect two family branches through marriage or another relationship.
- 1Open the tree that should become the main combined tree.
- 2Click Join and select another tree to merge into the current tree.
- 3Choose the connection type: spouse, parent-child, or sibling.
- 4Select one member from the current tree and one member from the other tree.
- 5Review the preview. Matching selected people can be reused to avoid duplicates.
- 6Confirm the merge. The original second tree remains untouched as a backup.
Sharing & Public Read-Only Pages
Share your tree safely with family and social media.
- 1Use Share to create a read-only tree link.
- 2Send the link through WhatsApp, social media, or email.
- 3People with the link can view, but they cannot edit your original tree.
- 4You can use referral links to invite others to create their own family tree.
- 5Use public visibility only when you are comfortable showing tree information publicly.
Events & Invitations
Create wedding, naming ceremony, reunion, and family event pages.
- 1Open Events from the tree toolbar.
- 2Create an invitation with title, event type, date, time, venue, host, RSVP phone, and message.
- 3For traditional wedding invitations, add boy/groom and girl/bride names, family names, and photos.
- 4Publish the event and copy the public invitation link.
- 5Share the link on WhatsApp with family and guests.
Birthday & Anniversary Calendar
Track upcoming reminders and share wishes.
- 1Open Calendar from the tree toolbar.
- 2Birthdays are created from member date of birth.
- 3Birth remembrance is shown for deceased members with date of birth.
- 4Anniversaries are created from saved family events.
- 5Use filters for birthdays, anniversaries, and time windows.
- 6Use WhatsApp buttons to send ready-made family wishes.
Family Timeline
See births, weddings, milestones, and updates in chronological order.
- 1Open Family Timeline from the tree toolbar (History icon) or from the calendar page.
- 2The timeline combines member births, marriage dates, custom milestones, and notable family updates.
- 3Add milestones and marriage dates on each member profile to enrich the timeline automatically.
- 4Use the timeline when explaining family history to relatives or preparing reunion materials.
Relationship Finder, Directory & Fan Chart
Use advanced views beyond the normal tree canvas.
- 1Relationship Finder shows how two selected members are connected.
- 2Family Directory is a searchable contact book for phone, email, places, occupation, and social links — with photo filters.
- 3On Basic, Premium, and Enterprise plans, directory cards include one-tap Call and WhatsApp when a phone number is saved. Free plan shows numbers for reference only.
- 4Fan Chart creates a radial ancestor view for sharing and printing.
- 5Statistics Report shows colorful analytics about members, generations, photos, ages, and places.
Exports, Reports & Downloads
Download family tree visuals and structured data.
- 1Use Export to download tree visuals when your plan supports it.
- 2Use PDF or PNG for sharing and printing the tree view.
- 3Use Excel export to download structured family member data.
- 4Use Statistics page to download a professional report as PDF or PNG.
- 5For best visual exports, zoom and arrange the tree before exporting.
Privacy, Plans & Troubleshooting
Keep family data safe and solve common problems.
- 1Trees are private unless you make them public or create a share link.
- 2Only invited editors can modify a tree; viewers and public links are read-only.
- 3If login asks again, refresh once and make sure cookies/local storage are not blocked.
- 4If a tree has duplicate members after testing a merge, delete the extra record or use a future duplicate cleanup option.
- 5If Call or WhatsApp buttons are missing in Directory, upgrade from Free to a paid plan (Basic or above).
- 6If pricing or features look outdated, refresh the page and check subscription status.
- 7For support, use the Contact page or email support@familybhai.com.
Common troubleshooting
Fast answers for common user issues.
I cannot create another tree
Your plan may have reached the tree limit, or the tree name may already exist. Try a unique name or upgrade.
My relationship line looks too long
Use Join/Merge carefully and avoid duplicate spouse records. The layout works best when the same person is reused instead of copied twice.
A person appears twice
This usually means duplicate member records exist. Delete the extra duplicate or merge duplicates when that cleanup tool is available.
Export does not match screen
Use the latest export modal, keep the visible tree arranged, and avoid browser zoom levels that distort capture.
Console shows "module is not defined" on Help
That error almost always comes from a browser extension (stack often mentions content.js), not this site. Open the page in Incognito with extensions off, or try another browser, to confirm.
Camera upload opens file picker
Some desktop browsers do not expose camera capture. Mobile devices and supported browsers provide better camera behavior.
Public link shows too much data
Use tree settings and member details carefully before creating public or read-only links. Do not add sensitive data you do not want shared.
